Why TRS Planning

The plan matters.
So does the follow-through.

TRS Planning began in 2023 with a straightforward purpose: help organizations deliver important work and improve the way that work gets done.

I’m a former Marine Corps officer and a certified Project Management Professional with more than two decades of experience planning and delivering services. I bring that experience to projects, portfolios, and business processes that need structure and attention.

The support is shaped around the engagement. Sometimes that means leading a project. Sometimes it means clarifying a process, coordinating vendors, or helping a leadership team see where delivery needs a decision.

How the team comes together

The way I work

Clear expectations.
Useful action.

01

Start with success.

Get specific about the business challenge, the desired outcome, and the constraints before choosing the plan or the tools.

02

Make ownership clear.

Give people a shared view of responsibilities, decisions, risks, and the next commitment that needs attention.

03

Build something useful.

Keep the process practical for the people doing the work, and prepare someone to own it after the change is delivered.

Where I can help

The right support
for the work ahead.

Work directly with experienced leadership for a portion of your week or a defined engagement. The scope, responsibilities, and measures of success are agreed up front.

Projects & portfolios

Lead the delivery.

Bring structure to a critical rollout, a drifting project, or a portfolio that needs clearer priorities and reporting.

Project leadership & PMO

Processes & operations

Make work flow.

Improve handoffs, reduce repeated tasks, and put useful tools and reporting around the way your business operates.

Operations excellence

Government & teaming

Support the mission.

Discuss IT project management, operations support, and clearly scoped delivery roles for your government opportunity.

Government services

Experience across industries

Different settings.
The same discipline.

Each organization has its own people, systems, and constraints. The work begins by understanding that context.

  • IT & software
  • Financial services
  • Automotive
  • Faith-based nonprofits
  • Texas electricity markets
